Welcome to the site of Abbotsford Amateur Radio Emergency Services Society (AARESS) and the VE7ASM repeater.

AARESS exists to render service to the public, and to the Government, and in particular to the City of Abbotsford, in times of emergency or disaster, by establishing effective emergency communications employing licenced Amateur Radio Operators. It also exists to further the art of Amateur Radio by promoting and increasing the knowledge, skill and proficiency of the members in all matters relating to Amateur Radio and emergency communications
